IFRS 17 Actuary, General Insurance

FocusCore Group is currently working with a dynamic insurer with rapid growth and expansion across the Asia Pacific region. This firm is expanding their IFRS17 team and the position is based in Singapore.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and collaborative team for driving and delivering the IFRS17 implementation. You will work closely with actuarial and non-actuarial key stakeholders on the accurate application of the accounting positions and methodology. In this high-visibility role, you will provide actuarial perspective and input on various activities such as model development, balance sheet preparation, comparative analysis as well as valuation and reporting.

In order to be successful in your application, you should be a GI actuary with 5-10 years of relevant actuarial experience and experience in IFRS17 standards is required. You should also demonstrate active progress in your actuarial examinations. Good communication and written skills in English will be required.
