The Opportunity

The Client Accounting Services "CAS" team at Swiss Re is a global team that provides our Property & Casualty clients and brokers

with a link between Swiss Re's Sales and Operational environments to ensure delivery of our contractual promises. We work in

close collaboration with the relevant offshored processing hubs, and are responsible for maintaining the flow of data and cash to/

from our clients, and deliver accounting service excellence by engaging and collaborating with our clients and brokers. We also

provide analysis and insights to various units to help protect Swiss Re's Balance Sheet.

You will be responsible for effectively managing specific reinsurance client portfolios from technical accounting perspective. Your

strong relationships with clients through frequent interactions and understanding of your client's specific needs will lead to improved

flow of accurate information and cash, simplification of accounting processes, as well as identification of opportunities for business

growth. You will make business easier through innovative accounting and e-commerce solutions.

You will be adept at maintaining & leveraging internal relationships, acting as an ambassador for CAS. Internal stakeholders will

seek you as a trusted resource on your portfolio's performance, wording and implementation of contract terms, analysis of data, and

identification of actions from your analysis. Your strong understanding of Swiss Re's business and priorities, along with analytical

and communication skills will support management in decision-making. You will also take decisions on accounting and business

issues as needed.

You will have plenty of opportunities to act as a leader within the unit's initiatives and/or special projects where your strategic

approach, open mindset, agile thinking towards change and the ability of working and taking decisions in cross-functional teams will

make the difference. In this respect, you will play a top contributor role in managing projects to help steer strategy at client or market

level. You will collaborate, design and implement training sessions and various clients' events whilst enjoying coaching colleagues

and facilitating knowledge-sharing sessions.

About You

? Excellent written and verbal communication in English and in another Asian language

? Proven record of client interactions, with ability to discuss and understand customer concerns and come up with solutions

? Experienced in working with and managing various stakeholders and share know-how across cultures and functions, frequently

in a virtual environment

? Eight (8) or more years of experience in reinsurance or insurance industry; experience in other financial institutions is also


? Strong knowledge of any of reinsurance technical accounting, insurance financials and/or underwriting

? Willing to travel for business (10%-20% of your time)
