A fantastic new Team Manager for Life Insurance Risk role has been made available at a recognized direct insurer. Reporting to the Head of Group Insurance Risk, you will leverage on your technical skills in reviewing, develop and enhance risk management frameworks, procedures and methodologies in order to achieve business goals.
This is a high visibility role within the business which will see you interacting with Management and Risk Committees within the business and the wider Group. You will also be required to work alongside external institutions such as ratings agencies, regulators and industry associations. As a senior member of the team, you will also hone your management skills in leading and developing a small team.
In order to be successful in your application, you should have a minimum of 5 years of working experience in Life Insurance. Working experience in Malaysia is a must, with understanding of local regulatory requirements such as RBC or IFRS. Experience in Product Management, Insurance Operations, Risk Management or Actuarial is preferred. You should be able to demonstrate leadership capability as well as effective written and spoken communication skills.
