Risk Actuary, Reinsurance

FocusCore Group is currently working with a global leading reinsurance company with a strong presence across the Asia market. This well-known multinational firm is expanding their Risk Management team and seeking a Risk Actuary to join their team in Shanghai.

 

This fantastic opportunity allows you to apply and utilize your actuarial expertise into the risk management function especially for monitoring internal capital and solvency, reviewing annual risk policy and control process, as well as supporting the risk control information system. At the same time, you will also play a key role in preparing internal and regulatory risk reporting, supporting business strategic planning and risk assessment.

 

In order to be successful in your application, you should possess:

- At least 3 years of relevant actuarial experience with a Life Insurer, Reinsurer or Consultancy

- Strong background in valuation, risk management or actuarial auditing will be advantageous

- Knowledge and understanding of C-Ross and Solvency II will be preferred

- Communication and written skills in English and Mandarin will be required for this role
