Regional Actuary, Asia

FocusCore is currently working with a reputable insurer with an established footprint across Asia. This company requires an experienced life actuary to join their regional office as a Regional Actuary. This role is based in Singapore.

Reporting to the Head of Department, you will act as an internal consultant to the business, working closely with Actuarial, Finance, Investment and Risk Management teams across various local business units and within the regional office. You will provide monitoring, oversight and support across a broad range of activities such as product strategy review, EV, reinsurance, VoNB and IFRS 17 implementation. This is a high-visibility role within the business and you can expect collaboration with several senior stakeholders throughout Asia.

In order to be successful in your application, you should be a qualified life actuary from a direct insurer, reinsurer or consultancy with at least 4-10 years of related actuarial experience in Asia. Working experience in Singapore is required. You should also be a good communicator with fluency in English.
