Life Actuarial Consultant, Thailand and SEA

Our client is a world-leading management consultancy with an strong established presence across Asia. Due to business growth, a vacancy within their Insurance Consulting practice has been made available in their Bangkok office. 

As a Consultant on the Life Actuarial Consulting team, you will be working on a number of complex actuarial projects on topics such as IFRS17, valuations, modelling, capital management, risk, strategy and M&A. You will work as part of of a team, to deliver quality standards on a timely basis. You will be a Thailand market expert, and can expect interactions with senior stakeholders in client companies. You will also work with colleagues on SEA-wide projects as needed. 

In order to be successful in your application, you should be a Life and Health actuarial expert with at least 4 to 10 years of experience in a direct insurer, reinsurer, consultancy or broker. You should ideally have experience in one of the following: IFRS17, pricing, valuations, reporting or modelling. Knowledge of the Thailand market and OIC regulations are a must. Fluency in English is required, and ability to communicate in Thai is highly preferred.
