FocusCore Group is currently working with a leading global reinsurance company with rapid growth and expansion across the Asia Pacific region. We are looking for a Client Manager for the Life and Health field to be based in Hong Kong.
Working with the Head of Client Management, you will design and implement business development strategies for the focus market. You will also maintan and develop new and existing relationships with senior stakeholders in client companies, understand their challenges and develop new reinsurance opportunities. In addition, you will work together with various stakeholders in the business to develop innovative and sustainable solutions for clients across the North Asia region. You will also promote the company's brand through participation in conferences and related activities. As the senior member of the team, you will also hone your leadership skills through guiding and mentoring junior team members, and sharing of expertise.
In order to be successful in your application, you should have at least 8+ to 13 years of experience in a life insurer, reinsurer, brokerage or consultancy. Actuarial Fellowship qualifications are highly preferred. Experience in sales , business development or managing client relationships will be preferred. You should be technically strong, possess good understanding of market and regulatory trends in the North Asia region, along with good business acumen. You should be higly adaptable and be able to work in a fluid environment. Effective communication skills in English and Cantonese are essential in this role. Mandarin language skills will be advantageous.
