The Business Development Director pulls on resources from all of the organisations business segments with the primary function of generating revenue from the groups target market organizations.
As Business Development Director you will be responsible for sales numbers and revenue generation from major corporate clients from both the private sector and government linked bodies. You will be accountable for profitable revenue growth as well as cross selling all of the organisations services and solutions.
You will be the face of the business across all segments, developing and generating new business at the same time as managing the professional relationships and handling renewal business. Influencing, selling and the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally is key. The ability to collaborate with the different internal business streams is also of paramount importance.
This role would suit those with a high level of sales and/or business development experience from the insurance/financial services or consultancy sectors.
