Business Development Actuary, Manager/Director

FocusCore Group is currently working with a global leading reinsurance company with a well-established presence across Asia. This multinational firm is seeking an experienced life actuary to join their regional business development team in Kuala Lumpur.

You will play a key role in seeking new business opportunities and driving the growth strategy for Southeast Asia markets. In this high visibility role, you will look after a wide variety of topics such as reinsurance quotations, marketing/product research and analysis, negotiations, client management and relationship establishment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with various clients to deliver the bespoke reinsurance solutions and help achieve business goals.

In order to be successful in your application, you should possess:

- At least 4 years of actuarial experience with a life insurer, reinsurer or consultancy

- The ability to balance client needs and the business objectives of the company

- Experience in L&H product development or pricing will be advantageous

- Good communication and written skills in English is required
